On 25 November 2015, PIRSA hosted a GOVchat session encouraging the community to call in to share their great ideas on how to grow South Australia’s reputation as the nation’s food and wine state. This gave the public direct telephone access to influencers and decision makers, including Minister Brock and Minister Bignell, PIRSA Executives, and our food and wine industry ambassadors.
The responses we received were detailed and very high quality; a clear indication of the passion of South Australian’s for our food and wine sectors. Comments and ideas received were around food and wine events, supporting farmers and producers, and making it easy to buy local. We are currently reviewing and analysing all of the feedback and calls received through GOVChat and a more detailed summary will be provided here in the near future.
Tell us how you think we can grow South Australia’s reputation as the nation’s food and wine state.
