You can help develop the Northern and Yorke Catchment Action Plans in Willochra, Broughton, Wakefield and Light.

What is being decided?

Natural Resources Northern and Yorke is working towards the development of Catchment Action Plans for four catchments in the region – Willochra, Broughton, Wakefield and Light.

These action plans are being developed to ensure that future projects undertaken are consistent with the priorities identified by the community.

How can your input influence the decision?

Feedback received will be used to develop the plans that will help determine future projects and activities in these catchments.

We’re reviewing information collected from the community 10–15 years ago when the last river management plans were developed, and we’d like your help to find out if this information is still accurate.

  • The Draft Willochra and Broughton Action Plans are due for completion by end of June 2016.
  • The Draft Wakefield and Light Plans are due for completion by the end of June 2017.

These draft plans will then be released for further public consultation.

To ensure your priorities are included, please download the Four Rivers Survey (PDF, 110KB), fill out the online survey, or join the discussion.
