What’s being decided?

We want your feedback about the draft Northern and Yorke Regional Landscape Plan (draft Plan) which sets the vision and priorities for the region to achieve sustainable landscape management.

The draft plan, and Supporting documents, focus on the region’s key landscape requirements and the programs that will be delivered across all priority areas of:

• communities
• biodiversity
• water management
• sustainable agriculture
• pest plants and animal control.

These priorities were set out by the Minister for the Environment and Water when the landscape boards were established in July 2020.

How can your input influence the decision?

Your input will help the Northern and Yorke Landscape Board identify any priorities important to the local community and add them to either its current planning or future programs.

We will consider your feedback prior to finalisation of the Northern and Yorke Regional Landscape Plan and associated documents.

What are the next steps?

The final Northern and Yorke Regional Landscape Plan and supporting documents will be published on this site and the Northern and Yorke Landscape Board website after 30 June, 2021.
