Community input will assist BMC members in deciding on the inclusion of additional assets or changes to treatment strategies. Feedback will contribute to the overall goal of improving bushfire safety on Fleurieu Peninsula.

What is being decided?

The Fleurieu Bushfire Management Area Plan (BMAP) identifies assets at risk from bushfire and the prevention and preparedness strategies to reduce the risk to those assets. It is not an operational fire-fighting plan. The Fleurieu BMAP has been developed by the Fleurieu Bushfire Management Committee through engagement with Local Government, CFS volunteers, land managers and other stakeholders.
