We want your feedback on rules for improving transport and integrated movement under the new Planning and Design Code.

This engagement forms part of a new planning and development system for South Australia - you can read more about it here.

What is being decided?

We want to hear your views on what you believe are the key issues and opportunities in planning policy which relates to our state’s transport infrastructure.

We are designing state-wide planning policies across a range of transport and travel-related issues and we would like your feedback about these important policy topics.

The Integrated Movement Systems Policy Discussion Paper provides an overview of the role our new planning system will play in achieving optimal development and transport outcomes. It explores three primary areas which we would like you to respond to:

  • Aligning South Australia’s growth with transport infrastructure
  • Capitalising on strategic transport infrastructure
  • Sustainable mobility, car parking and the impacts of technology

A more detailed Background Paper is also provided here and there is a Summary of the discussion paper here.
