An internal review of the application for Land Tax Exemption process has been completed. The review identified a number of improvements which could be made to the application process and we are now seeking feedback from the community on a newly designed, digital form. Instead of selecting from a range of six forms (as per the current process), applicants will only need to access one. Your participation in the process will require you to complete a test of this form and then provide us your feedback on your experience by answering a short survey. We are particularly keen to hear from people who have previously applied for an exemption so that they can compare their previous experience to the new one, and share it with us so that we can improve the new form even further.
You can review the original forms via the RevenueSA website. These include:
- Application for Residential Exemption
- Application for Primary Production Exemption
- Application for Exemption Pursuant to Section 5 of the Land Tax Act 1936 (Supported Residential Facilities; Residential Aged Care Facilities; Caravan Parks; Retirement Villages and Retired Persons’ Relocatable Home Parks)
- Application for Exemption Pursuant to Section 4 of the Land Tax Act 1936 (Association, Club, Society or Other Entity)
