Thank you to those who took part in the consultation about the draft amendments to the Disability Inclusion Act 2018 (Act) to provide clarity for participants in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the sector about restrictive practices.
We have considered all feedback received from the public consultation.
We have put together a Consultation Report 2021: Disability Inclusion (Restrictive Practices-NDIS) Amendment Bill – a new NDIS Restrictive Practices Authorisation regime for South Australia is available on the DHS website.
The Disability Inclusion (Restrictive Practice-NDIS) Amendment Bill was introduced into the South Australian Parliament in March 2021.
