New Snapper management arrangements announced

More than 800 completed responses were received in reply to the online consultation, and a further 88 submissions received from individuals and key stakeholder groups.

Public consultation - completed survey responses summary

Following consideration of the latest available science and feedback from all stakeholders, new management measures for South Australia’s Snapper fishery have been introduced to achieve long-term improvement of South Australian Snapper stocks.

The changes will take effect from midday 1 November 2019. Full details are available on the PIRSA website.
