Fund My Idea West Coast accepted ideas for projects to be delivered in the Ceduna, Streaky Bay, Elliston and Wudinna council regions. A total pool of $50,000 was made available to applicants. We received 22 ideas, and the community voted them down to a top 3 to be considered by Government.

The following projects received funding:

Far West Mojo ($26,000)
The Far West Mojo project will enlarge and share a local voice in the West Coast Aboriginal communities, providing digital journalism skills that can lead to commissioned work and recognition by mainstream media. Red Cross will lead the project, joining forces with the Youth Hub.

Memorial Hall Facelift ($24,000) 
Local performance group Danceduna, working with the District Council, will progress upgrades to the Ceduna Memorial Hall including a new motorised curtain, an industrial dishwasher and a new freezer.
