We need your help to identify what can be done to reduce the impact of bushfires on South Australian communities into the future.
What’s being decided?
The South Australian government has announced an independent review on the 2019/20 bushfire season.
The review will look into South Australia's preparedness for dealing with significant bushfire activity and what can be done to mitigate the impact of bushfires on our communities into the future. The review will also explore preparation, prevention, response and recovery strategies for upcoming years and bushfire seasons.
The Terms of Reference provides further detail on the scope of the review.
How can your input influence the decision?
Your input will help us identify how South Australia can adapt and learn from recent events to be better prepared for dealing with future bushfires, whilst minimising their impact on our communities.
You are invited to provide input to the independent review by:
- joining the online discussion
- completing the online form
- emailing your written submission to: BushfireReviewSubmissions@sa.gov.au
- attending one of our feedback sessions
- posting your written submission to:
