Phase Two - What We Have Heard Report available

During the two month consultation period from 1 October 2019 – 29 November 2019, we conducted 75 consultation activities, responded to 248 enquiries and received 237 submissions on the draft Phase Two Code from rural councils, state agencies, industry practitioners and members of the community.

These responses are summarised in the What We Have Heard Report for Phase Two, alongside key recommendations for draft Planning and Design Code's improvement.

We have highlighted some of the results from the report in our media release.

Our final recommendations to the Minister for Planning will be published in a separate report prepared for the purposes of section 73 of the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016. This report will be made public following the Minister’s approval.
