The EPA has considered the feedback to inform further revision of the Bill. The amended draft Environment Protection (Waste Reform) Amendment Bill 2017 has been introduced into Parliament.
Broader comments on the waste reform program received from the Bill consultation process are helping inform other priority reforms.

Consultation closed on 18 November 2016 and including delivery of a conference workshop attracting over 100 attendees, around 60 stakeholders attending consultation sessions and with 18 written submissions subsequently being received.
