We are going to renovate a garage that was given by our community member to be used for 10 years

How will the funding be spent?

All of the items will buy from Burnings Warehouse. I will be the project coordinator for this office renovation. All of the receipts will be kept according to the requirements.

How will the project be delivered?

Our qualify volunteer will carry all of the renovation work. However, the electricity works will be done by qualify electrician. The project will take for 6weeks.

How many people will directly benefit from this project?

How will you measure the impact of this project?

The office will be used for EC monthly meeting and community storage to keep community belongs. All of education training will be held in this office.

How will the project fit this year's theme of ‘Connect, Grow, Build, Belong’?

Previously we have no office but our community address is the President's address. It make us difficult to manage because our community is grow bigger and bigger within 6 years. Our community belongings, instruments and cultural items need to be keep properly. Moreover, a community office is really need to host for our EC meeting and educational training. By having a community office, we can connect with our community members better and build a strong community that belong to wider Australian.

Zomi Innkuan Adelaide is an inclusive, non-profit Community organization which mainly assist to the Zomi Community in South Australia. It was established in 2012 with aim to work collectively help the community members with wide range of services and uplifting Zomi Cultural and history to be uphold. It also target to promote social cohesion and social progress with wider Australian community.
