2024 Blue Book ‘My Health and Development Record’ Review
Consultation has concluded
We want to hear from parents and caregivers about their experience using their child’s My Health and Development Record (Blue Book).
What's being decided?
We are reviewing the Blue Book and want to know what is useful, and how it could be improved.
- What features or information do you find useful in the Blue Book?
- What could be improved in the Blue Book?
- What information is most important when it comes to caring for a newborn, toddler and preschooler?
Background
The Blue Book was last reviewed by The Child and Family Health Service (CaFHS) in 2015.
Research tells us that a child’s first five years are the most important in determining their future health, development and happiness. We want to ensure that the Blue Book provides parents and caregivers with useful and relevant information and advice to raise happy and healthy children.
To ensure that the Blue Book continues to be a useful resource, we are asking parents and caregivers to provide their feedback.
For more information about the Blue Book visit the Child and Family Health Service (CaFHS) website.
