Where will the statues and monuments be located?
The new statues and monuments will be visible to the public and may be in Adelaide or at regional locations dependent on availability of funding, input of family members and approval processes.
What is the criteria for nomination of Aboriginal leaders and heroes?
Initially nominations are for Aboriginal South Australians who have made an outstanding contribution to our community.
How many Aboriginal leaders and/or heroes can I nominate?
There is no limit to the number of Aboriginal South Australians that may be nominated.
When will the decision be made?
A report on the engagement will be provided to the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs for consideration.
