This consultation is now closed. Thankyou for your interest.

We like to think of Adelaide as a creative city – but are we? We have invited Charles Landry, an international expert in creative cities, to examine Adelaide through the lens of his Creative Cities Index. We will then be able to compare Adelaide to Bilbao, Helsinki and Ghent and 13 other cities that have participated in the Index.

The Creative Index study will have a number of elements: factual research, interviews, review of work done to date in Adelaide, group discussions and a survey of perceptions of Adelaide.

The survey

As part of the study we invite you to do a survey on Adelaide. You can the survey here.

Once you follow the link, if you select ‘Adelaide’ from the drop down box you can complete a short (rapid) survey (which will take around 10 minutes to complete). If you have the time we would like to invite you to complete a longer (full) survey (which will take around 50 minutes to complete). For the long survey you need to enter ADEL2013 as the survey ID.

We also welcome your ideas and opinions through our blog below. This will be an area for debate and discussion.

When will we know the results

Charles Landry will prepare a public report later in the year and we will include information about it on this site when available.
