Consultation Update

All feedback has been considered with minor amendments made to the Draft Policy and supporting Report. The Aquaculture (Zones-Lower Eyre Peninsula) Policy 2023 was approved and came into operation on 2 November 2023. A description of the amendments made to the Draft Policy is contained in the supporting Report. Responses to feedback received are contained within the Submission Response Document.

PIRSA will commence implementation of the Policy, including through future release of aquaculture lease tenure via a public call for applications and assessment by the Aquaculture Tenure Allocation Board.
