What is being decided?

We know there are many different factors which can result in parking problems on local streets.

The State Government has initiated a wholesale review of car parking in local streets in Adelaide, so we can work with local councils to identify the causes of any problems and consider potential solutions.

Feedback and experiences from the community will be a valuable part of the review.

Have your say

As a local resident across the Adelaide metropolitan area, you are invited to provide your feedback on your experience of parking on your local street.

We would appreciate your feedback about your own household’s car use and needs, and your experiences of parking around your home.

We would also like to hear about what improvements would you like to see to make parking better around your home and your neighbourhood.

To have your say and help guide potential solutions for car parking on local streets, you can:

  • complete this short survey
  • join the online discussion

The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete.

Please have your say before comments close 5pm Friday February 16, 2018.

How can your input influence the decision?

Feedback from the community, including your input, will help us to identify the causes of any parking problems.

Importantly, this will help us work with councils to consider potential solutions.

How will your input be used?

A summary of the responses from the community will be available on YourSay in June 2018.

We will also publish the summary of responses from the community on the South Australian Government SA Planning Portal.
