Consultation Outcome

From 25 October 2023 to 28 March 2024, the South Australian community was asked to provide feedback on how they felt they could better engage with their Councils through a Council term and during election periods.

We thank you for the 92 submissions received directly to the Office of Local Government, and the 406 surveys completed on YourSAy.

Feedback received on reform options has been compiled into the four documents below:

Some feedback from the local government sector was submitted to, and compiled by, the Local Government Association which can be viewed at LGA’s submission to local government reform.

Consultation outcomes were published on the Department for Infrastructure and Transport’s website in June 2024.
