The Consultation Process

Extensive consultation across the Arts, Culture and Tourism industries has been undertaken, with over 20 face to face consultation meetings feeding into the Draft Strategy that is now available.

On the 20th of April, a forum was held at the Grainger Studios, attended by over 100 stakeholders, organised by Festival Adelaide, the Tourism Industry Council of South Australia and the Arts Industry Council of South Australia. Additional consultation activities were hosted on YourSAy in April and May, and included a survey allowing input from a broad range of interested parties, which resulted in 166 responses.

The draft Arts and Cultural Tourism Strategy has been developed using a range of inputs, including existing strategies, consumer insights, consultation meeting input, forum feedback and the industry survey responses

The draft Arts and Cultural Tourism Strategy is now available for industry and public comment and will be open for 4 weeks from the Monday, the 26th of July 2021 to Friday, the 20th of August 2021. Once further feedback on this draft strategy is addressed, the final strategy will be launched in September 2021.
