Progress of the draft Environment Protection (Waste Reform) Amendment Bill 2017

The EPA has considered the feedback to inform further revision of the Bill. The amended draft Environment Protection (Waste Reform) Amendment Bill 2017 has been introduced into Parliament.

The Bill as introduced to Parliament is available at the South Australian legislation website. Its second reading speech in the Legislative Council on 9 August 2017 is available in Hansard.

Broader comments on the waste reform program received from the Bill consultation process are helping inform other priority reforms.
