What's being decided?
The Office of the Technical Regulator (OTR) is reviewing the Standard for Dual Reticulation Infrastructure for South Australia’s water industry.
After several years in effect, the OTR is seeking feedback to understand how the Standard is working in practice. We want to identify any areas for improvement and ensure it continues to support safety, reliability, and compliance for Water Industry Entities (WIEs).
Background
The Standard for Dual Reticulation Infrastructure was first published by the OTR in 2020 following extensive consultation with the South Australian water industry.
The Standard sets out the minimum requirements and responsibilities for everyone involved in designing, constructing, and managing dual reticulation infrastructure. It helps ensure that water services provided to South Australian consumers remain safe, reliable, and high quality.
