Consultation Update

Management plan adopted.

Thank you for your interest in the Parks of Eastern Kangaroo Island Management Plan.

Consultation on the draft management plan was open from 1 December 2023. Consultation was originally scheduled to close on 1 March 2024 – however, in response to requests from local stakeholders, consultation was extended until 31 March 2024. Following the public consultation period, a review of all submission received was undertaken. A final management plan was prepared and presented to the Parks and Wilderness Council for their advice. The final plan was then provided for the Minister for Climate, Environment and Water for their consideration.

The Parks of Eastern Kangaroo Island Management Plan 2024 has now been adopted.
