Thank you for checking in on the progress of the draft Industry Advocate Bill

Consultation closed on 31 March 2017 with around 45 stakeholder comments and submissions being received overall. In essence, the proposal for the Industry Advocate Bill 2017 (“the Bill”) was strongly supported by industry associations and businesses in this State.

The Department for State Development has considered the feedback to inform further revision of the Bill. The amended draft Industry Advocate Bill 2017 will be presented to the Treasurer for consideration and will be made available at www.industryadvocate.sa.gov.au at the time of its introduction into Parliament. Further specific feedback on the matters raised and updates on the broader Industry Participation framework reforms will be made available at www.industryadvocate.sa.gov.au in June 2017.
