FAQs
Is there any known Aboriginal heritage in the Application Area and how will this be managed?
Koonalda Cave is a highly significant site for Mirning Custodians and the Aboriginal peoples of the Far West Coast. The caver is protected under Commonwealth and state legislation and is recognised for its Aboriginal heritage, archaeology and natural features at international, national and state levels.
Please refer to the Consultation Information Pack, Consultation Notice and AAR's website for further information about Aboriginal heritage and the Applicant's proposed heritage management.
