Management plan adopted

Thank you for your interest in the draft Munga-Thirri—Simpson Desert National Park Management Plan.

Consultation on the draft management plan was open from 11 October 2021 until 11 January 2022.

Following the close review of all submissions received during this period, a final plan and a copy of all comments made during consultation were presented to the Parks and Wilderness Council for their advice.

Following receipt of this advice, the Minister for Environment and Water has adopted the new management plan.
