Northern Adelaide Local Health Network Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2020-2024

Consultation has concluded

NALHN are providing an opportunity for further comment before finalising and publishing the plan.

What's being decided?

Following feedback received late last year on the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2020-2024 (DAIP), we have decided to seek further comment before finalising and publishing the Plan on the NALHN website.

The DAIP is centred around 4 themes:

  • inclusive communities for all
  • leadership and collaboration
  • accessible communities
  • learning and employment.

Your experiences and feedback will help us to better understand and improve services offered across the organisation.

Background

NALHN understands and values the principles of equity and is committed to eliminating any barriers to accessing our health care services.

With a local population in excess of 400,000 and one of the fastest-growing regions in the state, it is more important than ever that the Network’s future service direction equally meets the needs of its diverse community.

In consultation with a range of stakeholders, the NALHN DAIP outlines our commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of people living with a disability in the north through enabling the same opportunities and access to all our health services.
