Although applications were received for Parafield and Adelaide Airport at the same time and the consultation period is the same it is important to consider each project separately, there are differences in the Aboriginal heritage sites proposed to be impacted and differences in the locations and heritage sensitivities of the different areas. 

AAR provides a copy of the consultation submissions to the Applicant, to the State Aboriginal Heritage Committee, to inform the committee’s advice to the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and to the Minister to assist with the Minister’s deliberations on the application.

Consultees may request that AAR keep any cultural information in their submission confidential.

Where possible, AAR will accommodate that request; however, procedural fairness may require that the Applicant be provided with as much information as possible to respond. AAR will discuss with you any request you may make for your submission to be considered on a confidential basis.
