The greatest factor of a child’s future health, development and happiness is their experience in the first five years of life. By the time a child is three years old, about 85 per cent of their brain has been developed.

It is important that parents have access to the information they need to support their family and the development of their child(ren).

The state government's Every chance for every child strategic priority focuses on supporting and strengthening South Australia's families and children to achieve their best.

The state government's Every chance for every child strategic priority focuses on supporting and strengthening South Australia's families and children to achieve their best.

To help us improve the information available we are seeking feedback from parents of children aged 0-5 years about the parenting information they receive.

Your feedback will be used to ensure information provided to parents during pregnancy and early childhood is as useful as possible and is provided in a way that is easy to access for all parents.

This is a great opportunity to have your say and help to build a state-wide picture of parent information resources to benefit the health and well-being of all South Australian children.

The Parent Information Project is led by SA Health in partnership with the Department for Education and Child Development and the Department of the Premier and Cabinet and is part of the government’s commitment to the Every chance for every child state plan priority.
