Native Vegetation Regulations 2016 - Consultation Report

Thank you for your interest on the draft Native Vegetation Regulations 2016.

We received a total of 66 submissions (over 200 individual comments) which will inform some key changes and also some improvements to the regulations. Please find the Consultation Report here (PDF 2.2MB). It details the key issues that arose from the consultation, addresses the specific comments of our stakeholders, and also provides a response to larger issues deemed out of (scope of the Regulations Review.

It is expected that the finalisation of the draft regulations will be in February 2017, with a commencement date of 1 July 2017.
