What's being decided? 

We are seeking your feedback on a proposal to realign the suburb boundary between Noarlunga Downs and Port Noarlunga. 

The proposed change would remove the area marked (A) shown in green on the map from Noarlunga Downs and include it within the suburb of Port Noarlunga. 

Background 

A portion of this area will be redeveloped by Renewal SA into a vibrant residential community featuring a large-scale housing project and the current suburb boundary intersects a part of the proposed land division.

The proposed realignment offers several benefits:

  • Better alignment with the character and identify of Port Noarlunga
  • Creates a clearer and more logical boundary resolving the current issue where the existing boundary diagonally intersects the site.
  • Supports the overall development vision including planned infrastructure, housing and public amenities
