Consultation outcome

On 6 April 2023, the Minister for Planning has approved a suburb boundary realignment within Hackham that will create a new suburb of ‘Onkaparinga Heights’.

The boundary was determined by a range of factors, including:

• the need to establish logical and recognisable boundaries,
• existing development plan zoning and
• road networks.

The new suburb of Onkaparinga Heights is bound by Main South Road to the west, Piggott Range Road to the south and east and by Cottage Lane and the industrial land to the north.

Most affected by the change will be existing property owners and prospective or recent purchasers of allotments within the site.

Residents, businesses and landowners will be contacted to advise them of the suburb name and provide advice about updating their address details with relevant organisations.
