SA Health Flexible Working Survey
PLEASE NOTE THE SA HEALTH FLEXIBLE WORKING SURVEY CLOSING DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 25 JULY 2022
One focus of the Gender Equality and Diversity Steering Committee is the awareness and uptake of flexible working options within SA Health. The committee believes in normalising flexible working arrangements so that employees can meet their personal responsibilities without adversely affecting their careers.
The following enterprise agreements include Flexible Work provision individual workplace clause(s):
- Nursing/Midwifery (SA Public Sector) Enterprise Agreement
- SA Ambulance Service Enterprise Agreement
- SA Government Wages Parity (Plumbing, Metal and Building Trades Employees) Enterprise Agreement
- SA Public Sector Enterprise Agreement Salaried
- SA Government Wages Parity (Weekly Paid) Enterprise Agreement
- SA Health Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement
Supporting these enterprise agreements is the SA Health Flexible Workplaces Policy Directive and supporting Guideline, as per the following:
The SA Health Flexible Workplaces Policy Directive and supporting Guideline has been reviewed to provide flexibility to actively support employees to balance their work, family and other personal obligations and interests. Compliance with this directive is mandatory.
This survey has been designed by our committee to gather anonymous data on our workforce through an intersectional lens, and with the COVID-19 pandemic in mind. We respect the lived experience of our workforce, and hope you will find the time to provide us with your responses in order to best inform and guide us.
There are 19 mandatory questions that every respondent must answer, with three extra mandatory questions for anyone managing staff or trainees, and four more for staff or paid trainees that were with SA Health prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. These questions primarily relate to where you work within SA Health, what you do, and how you do it. Once you are past the pages of mandatory questions, if you wish you may skip all others to the end.
There are up to 18 optional questions (depending upon your responses). Most of these question relate to disability, sex, gender, age, background, and languages used following standards produced by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, or are based on those standards with additional context. Other questions relate to your sexual or romantic orientation, relationships, family, and neurodiversity. We hope you will consider providing as much information about your identity and lived experience as you can in order to drive an informed analysis, but feel free to skip any of the questions you prefer not to answer.
Please note again that this survey is completely anonymous. Any question marked with a red asterisk (*) is mandatory and cannot be skipped.
If you are uncertain about a particular term or question, please take a moment to investigate it safely, or contact us for clarification (all queries will be treated respectfully and in confidence).
