The 2011 update of South Australia’s Strategic Plan was shaped by the biggest community engagement process ever undertaken in South Australia. Led by the independent Community Engagement Board [insert link], the process engaged over 9,200 people through face-to-face community meetings, stakeholder forums, targeted outreach gatherings and online through blogging and social media.
Thousands of ideas and opinions for the future of the state were gathered and used to directly influence the Community Engagement Board report which in turn shaped the updated Plan.
