About

KPMG, the Government of South Australia, Bank SA, Flinders University, Silver Chain Group and CEDA are collectively undertaking a project “Shaping the Future of South Australia: Ageing Well” and we need your help.

What's happening?

Ageing Well has been identified by the Economic Development Board as critical to South Australia’s future growth. Government, Universities and the private sector are working together to explore the needs of people over 60. This information will be used to identify opportunities for new products and services which help people age well and maintain their quality of life as active members of the community.

The project will look at six key areas including:

  • Food
  • Financial Services
  • Technology & Communications
  • Preventative Health Care
  • Places, Housing & Transport
  • Tourism, Events & Recreation

To do this work, we need to understand what “ageing well” means to you.

If you're over the age of 60, you are invited to share your views on your priorities and ideas to inform this piece of work by completing the survey or joining the discussion.

Why get involved?

Your input will be used to inform a series of workshops with a focus on how government, industry, non-Government organisations and researchers in South Australia can better respond to the needs of people over 60. A report will be developed from these workshops with recommendations to the Economic Development Board.

So get involved and have your say!

All survey responses will be anonymous and will not be attributable back to an individual. However you will have the opportunity to see your views along with those of other older South Australians in a future edition of WeekendPlus where results of the survey will be shared.
