TAFE SA's Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2025-2029
Consultation has concluded. Below is a record of the engagement.
TAFE SA is looking for your input to help us develop our Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) for 2025-2029.
What's being decided?
The DAIP focusses on improving access and supports for people living with disability at TAFE SA. It aligns with State Government and TAFE SA strategic objectives.
We develop our DAIP in consultation with staff, students, members of the community and disability organisations.
Your input helps us to learn more about what we're doing well, and where we can make improvements.
Background
The TAFE SA Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) operates in line with the Disability Inclusion Act 2018 (SA), Inclusive SA: State Disability Inclusion Plan 2019-2023, the National Disability Strategy 2010-2020 and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
A TAFE SA DAIP Working Group was formed that consisted of membership from staff and students living with disability, and staff representation from business units across TAFE SA. The Working Group developed the 2020-2024 TAFE SA DAIP which builds upon key findings from the 2015-2020 TAFE SA DAIP and supports the strategic improvement of access and support for people living with disability at TAFE SA and aligns with State Government and TAFE SA strategic objectives.
TAFE SA plays an important role in shaping South Australia’s economy and workforce and is committed to providing high quality vocational education for all South Australians. TAFE SA is committed to ensuring accessibility and inclusion. As we begin planning for our 2025-2029 DAIP your feedback will inform our plans and helps us improve.
