South Australia’s Youth Action Plan 2023-2026
Consultation has concluded. Thanks for your contributions.
We are inviting you to tell us your ideas about the key issues affecting young people in South Australia.
What's being decided?
We are developing South Australia’s Youth Action Plan 2023-2026 to enhance fair and equitable access to opportunities, resources and supports for young people.
We invite all young people, stakeholder organisations and anyone with an interest in young people to tell us their ideas about the key issues affecting young people in South Australia.
Background
Young people hold the key to creating a better future and deserve to be taken seriously, listened to and included in important conversations.
Young people demonstrate many strengths – including creativity, resilience, empathy, independence, collaboration and innovation. However, there are also areas where we need to take action to ensure that all young people can flourish. We are proposing that SA’s Youth Action Plan has five key areas for action:
- Physical Health, and Social and Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health
- Safety and Justice
- Education and Employment
- Connections and Access to Resources
- Citizenship and Participation
