What's being decided?
The Department for Housing and Urban Development is seeking your feedback on a proposal to realign the suburb boundary of Bolivar and Paralowie.
The realignment would exclude the area marked (A) and shown in green on the below map from the suburb of Bolivar and include it in Paralowie. The area is bounded by:
- Jobson Road to the north
- Port Wakefield Road to the east
- Little Para River to the south
- The North-South Motorway to the west.
The proposed realignment will affect permanent residents of Highway 1 Caravan and Tourist Park, property owners and businesses within the area.
Background
Aspen Group, the owners of Highway 1 Caravan and Tourist Park requested a suburb boundary realignment for a portion of Bolivar to be included in the suburb of Paralowie.
A well-defined suburb name will help facilitate future urban planning and infrastructure to ensure the area’s readiness for the state's future projects.
