2016 Update
The public consultation period on the Martindale Hall Partnership’s proposal has now closed. As part of the three-stage process for considering unsolicited proposals, the Martindale Partnership is refining its proposal and Government will next be assessing whether to proceed to Stage 3 of the unsolicited proposals process.

The SA Government has received an unsolicited proposal for the purchase or long-term lease of the Martindale Hall property, and we're keen to hear your views on the proposal.
The proponent - Martindale Hall Partnership - has proposed the development of a wellness retreat and five-star resort in their initial proposal. The Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources is leading the process for assessing this proposal under the Guidelines for Assessment of Unsolicited Proposals.

The Partnership will take community views into account, especially in reference to Martindale Hall, its Coach House and the other structures that are listed on the State Heritage Register. All feedback will be considered as the Partnership provides its final submission to the Government.

As part of the assessment, we want to find out what the community thinks about the proposal, including any issues that need to be raised.

Community information sessions
A community information session was held at the Coach House at Martindale Hall at 4.00pm on Tuesday, 18 August 2015. Representatives from the Martindale Hall Partnership discussed their proposal, while SA Government representatives were also available to answer questions about the assessment process.
DEWNR and the Martindale Hall Partnership will be holding a community information session about the proposal. Representatives from the Partnership will discuss up-to-date details of their proposal, and show the initial concept drawings. There will be an opportunity for the public to provide their feedback on the proposal.
