What's being decided?
We are developing a new and improved way of collecting, managing and providing flood risk information in South Australia. We are seeking feedback on your needs and preferences. Your input will be used to inform the project so we can make valuable flood risk information easy to access online.
Background
The Department for Environment and Water (DEW) is developing a new or improved online resource to provide flood risk information to South Australians.
Community, businesses and government benefit from flood risk information, as it helps them to make informed decisions, leading to reduced risks to life and property.
The South Australian Government has committed $818,000 towards the project.
We have reviewed what flood risk information is currently available and how it is made accessible.
We are now seeking feedback on how you would like to access flood risk information. We aim to understand how you currently access flood risk information, the challenges you face and what features or improvements would make the process easier for you.
