Following the development of the draft Regional Pest Plant and Animal Strategy, the Hills and Fleurieu Landscape Board is now seeking community feedback to ensure the draft strategy is clearly articulated, easy to understand and well-defined.

Background

The Hills and Fleurieu Landscape Board in partnership with local councils and other agencies responsible for land management has developed the draft Regional Pest Plant and Animal Strategy.

The strategy intends to provide clarity to our community and partners on our agreed approach for prioritising pest plant and animal management within our region.

The strategy outlines a common understanding of the responsibilities, principles, and objectives to provide a foundation for collaboration and action for the protection of our agricultural, environmental and social assets.
