Horse racing officials want to move the Adelaide Cup race day back to May. But having a public holiday in March is useful as it lets people get along to other events, including WOMADelaide and the Future Music Festival.

moving the Adelaide Cup from the first Monday in March to the second Monday in May from 2014
keeping a public holiday on the first Monday in March, to be renamed Festival Day
moving the Queen’s Birthday public holiday from June to the second Monday in May.
We want to know what you do on your public holidays, whether they should be moved and what they should be called.
