SAPOL Gay and Lesbian Liaison Officer - Stories and Experiences
How accessible and inclusive is South Australia Police (SAPOL) for LGBTIQA+ people in South Australia?
SAPOL has been working hard to make its services more accessible and inclusive.
But we know we can do more and we need your help to do better.
SAPOL is currently reviewing our Gay and Lesbian Liaison Officer (GLLO) network to ensure it is visible, inclusive and accessible. We are also reviewing our training to develop our knowledge and understanding of issues and barriers faced by members of the LGBTIQA+ community.
This survey should only take a few minutes to complete but you can take as long as you like.
We have asked some specific questions but would also like to hear your stories. We have included space at the end of the form for you to tell us the stories you would like to share, whether your own story or about someone else.
If you would prefer to provide your submission in person, just email us at SAPOL.diversityandinclusion@police.sa.gov.au with a name and phone number and we’ll make contact with you to arrange a suitable time.
All information received will be treated in confidence.
Thank you for your participation.
