Agribusiness Food and Wine Workforce Strategy

We want your help developing the South Australian Agribusiness Food and Wine Workforce Strategy.

What's being decided?

The South Australian Government is taking action to strengthen South Australia's agribusiness, food, and wine sector workforce through developing a sector-wide Workforce Strategy.

The Strategy will be informed by the experience of South Australian primary producers in the barriers and challenges they face in securing and maintaining their workforce.

We have partnered with leaders and key organisations in these sectors to identify barriers and challenges, and have consolidated them into a Discussion Paper.

Background

Primary production is the backbone of the South Australian economy.

The purpose of this project is to test and develop the findings in the Discussion Paper through consultation, and to support a strong and sustainable agribusiness, food, and wine sector.
