A draft Bill, the Land Tax (Miscellaneous) Amendment Bill 2019 (the Bill), has been prepared for release as part of the public consultation process. The draft Bill is subject to passage through Parliament.
The main changes in the Bill are outlined in the Land tax consultation summary, which provides a summary of the key policy measures included in the draft Bill.
The Land tax consultation summary should not be read in isolation to the Bill and does not in any way override the intent of the draft Bill.
