Planning System Review
Consultation has concluded. Thanks for your contributions.
Have your say on the future of South Australia’s planning system.
What's being decided?
The Expert Panel for the Planning System Implementation Review would like to hear from South Australians on their experiences with the planning system.
The key areas the Panel are reviewing are:
- the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016
- the Planning and Design Code and related instruments, as it relates to infill policy, trees, character, heritage and car parking
- the ePlanning system, to ensure it is delivering an efficient and user-friendly process and platform
- the PlanSA website, to check usability and ease of community access to information.
Throughout the review, we encourage industry groups, practitioners, community groups, local government, and the public to share their feedback and contribute to the review.
Background

Improvements to the planning system cannot be made without your input and the Expert Panel is absolutely committed to engaging with as many South Australians as possible. After all, South Australia’s planning system affects all of us.
